Jennee and Ian were married at the Webb Deane Stevens Museum in Wethersfield, Connecticut. They had a beautiful ceremony and reception both held in the barn at the museum. If you love old barns, antiques and the rustic look, Webb Deane Steven’s Museum is the perfect place to get married! Jennee and Ian, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your special day, I wish you both nothing but happiness and love for years to come!
So yes I am a little behind in blogging as Eric and Katie just got married about two weeks ago, but Eric and I are coworkers at Smith & Wesson and I was more than thrilled when he asked me to be his wedding photographer. Eric and Katie’s session took place at Heritage Park in Holyoke and I had a great time working with both of them. I am looking forward to posting their wedding images in a few weeks! (if I can finally stay on top of posting things when they happen 🙂 )
April is a long time family friend, our families have known each other since we were both very young and for many years our families have vacationed together at Burnett’s Campground in York, Maine. I was thrilled when April asked me to be her wedding photographer! It was truly an honor! They were married on a beautiful fall day in late September. That morning much of the ground was still wet due to the immense amount of rain we got the day prior, and to ensure the bride did not get her dress wet her father dried the grass for her in the back yard where we took some portraits. April and Jon’s ceremony was held at Our Lady’s Chapel at Elms College and the reception was held at the Ludlow Country Club. What I loved most about photographing April & Jon’s wedding was witnessing and capturing how infatuated they are with each other. The entire day they barely took their eyes off one another. April and Jon it was an honor being a part of your big day, I wish you both nothing but the best for years to come!
This past October I had the privilege of photographing Shannon & Robert’s wedding. The ceremony and reception were both held at the Tekoa Country Club in Westfield, Ma and the day could not have gotten any better, it was a beautiful fall day; the sun was out the temperature was just right and they both opted for a “first look”. If you are not familiar with what a “first look” is, it is when the bride and groom see each other for the first time on their wedding day prior to the ceremony. I LOVE it when my clients do first looks, it not only makes for a smooth flowing day, but it is such a great intimate moment to capture. Shannon did a great job with the details at her wedding, I absolutely loved them. Shannon and Rob I wish you both the best! Thank you for letting me be a part of your big day!
A big thanks to Jennifer Bullock and Becki Martin for second shooting with me!
Stephen and Jennifer got married on a very warm summer day in August. The sun and rain both made an appearance and as they exchanged their rings and vows the skies opened up and it poured! However, just as it was time to exit the church and head to the reception for formals the sun came out. Stephen and Jennifer were not only blessed with the old tale of rain being good luck on your wedding day but also the beauty of the sun and clouds for their portraits. Stephen and Jennifer’s wedding was just up my alley as far as style, I am a country girl at heart and I LOVE antiques! Jennifer’s aunt’s home where she got ready was the perfect backdrop for portraits and details and Quonquont Farm where their reception was held was a beautiful barn decorated to perfection! Stephen and Jennifer, I apologize for such a delay in blogging your wedding, but truly appreciate you letting me capture the memories of your love and the love of your friends and family on your wedding day!
